Understanding fees
There are no subscriptions or setup fees. Each online donation carries two fees, and that's all you pay. Cash and check donations have no fees.
The two fees
- Transaction fee: 3.49% + $0.49 on every plan. It covers card processing.
- Platform fee, set by the event's plan: 0% on Basic, 4% on Plus, 7% on Premium.

When the donor covers the fee
On the donation form, donors can tick Add $3.98 to cover the transaction fee. They're charged $103.98, and your organization receives the full $100 less only the platform fee: $100.00 on Basic, $96.00 on Plus or $93.00 on Premium. Donors can cover the transaction fee, not the platform fee.
Where to see your fees
- The Donations list shows each card donation's Net: what you receive after fees.
- The Donation Report totals the fees and your share. See Reports and exports.
Fees are fixed when a donation is made. If you upgrade the event's plan later, earlier donations keep their original fees.
