Getting paid

Online donations are paid into your organization's own Stripe account as they're made, less the fees. Stripe then pays them out to your bank account automatically.

When the money arrives

Payout timing is set by Stripe. Typically, a new account's first payout comes about 7 to 14 days after the first donation, and after that, money usually reaches your bank within a few business days of each donation.

Seeing your payouts

  1. In the menu, choose Payments (Admins only).
  2. Choose Open Stripe dashboard.

Stripe's dashboard shows your balance, each payout and when it's due, and lets you change your bank account.

The Payments page itself shows your online donations, the fees and the amount paid into your Stripe account across all your events.

If payouts are paused

If the Payments page says Donations are open, but Stripe has paused payouts, Stripe needs something from you, usually a bank account or more information about the person verified. Donations keep coming in and are held safely. Choose Update details with Stripe to sort it out.
