An online home for your school's fun run, walk-a-thon or other participation fundraiser. You get an event page, a personal page for every student to share with family and friends, secure online donations, and tools to track progress by student, class and grade.
Schools, PTAs and PTOs, booster clubs and other organizations in the United States that run a participation fundraiser. To accept online donations, your organization sets up its own Stripe account during setup.
There are no setup fees and no subscriptions. Each online donation carries two fees:
Cash and check donations have no fees, and donors can choose to cover the transaction fee. See pricing for what each plan includes.
Every plan gives you event and student pages, online donations, grades, classes and class standings. Cash and check donations and bulk adding participants are included in the Plus and Premium plans; reward tiers, custom pages and Spanish pages in the Premium plan.
The plan is chosen for each event. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time in the event's settings, but an event's plan can't be changed to a lower one, so choose the plan with the features you'll need. After an upgrade, new donations use the new plan's fees; donations already made keep the fees they were made with.
Start a fundraiser: create your account, add your organization's details, then create your first event and choose a plan. From there, set up payments with Stripe and add your students.
Creating your account, organization and first event takes a few minutes. Payment setup with Stripe takes about ten minutes; have your organization's tax ID (EIN) and bank details handy, and Stripe may take a little while to verify them. Adding students can be done one at a time, or all at once by pasting your roster on plans that include bulk adding.
Yes. Choose Sign in with Google on the sign-in page, or Sign up with Google when you start a fundraiser. If you already have an account with the same email address (for example, because a colleague invited you), your Google account is linked to it. You can still use a password as well.
Yes. Invite as many staff and volunteers as you like from the Users page. Admins manage everything, including events, plans, payments, users and settings. Editors manage participants, grades, classes, pages and donations. Invitations are emailed and the link works for 7 days; you can resend one at any time.
From the Participants page, add students one at a time with their grade, class and goal. On the Plus and Premium plans you can also paste a whole roster from a spreadsheet, or copy everyone, with their grades and classes, from another event.
Yes. Create as many events as you like, and each keeps its own results. Students are kept from one event to the next, and on the Plus and Premium plans you can copy them, with their classes, into a new event instead of entering them again. You choose which event your organization's main web address opens.
Every student has their own goal and progress bar. Each donation counts toward the student's total, their class and grade, and the event's goal. The event page shows class standings and top fundraisers, so friendly competition keeps everyone going.
On every plan you can add your organization's and event's logo and colors, and a description of your event. Custom pages are included in the Premium plan.
Yes, on the Premium plan. Your event and student pages can be published in English and Spanish, and visitors switch language at the top of each page.
On the Premium plan, you set prize levels for the event, such as a T-shirt at $50 and a medal at $100. Students earn every tier they reach. The rewards report shows who has earned what, lets you mark prizes as handed out, and prints by class.
Yes, on the Plus and Premium plans. Record each gift against a student so it counts toward their goal and their class. Cash and checks go straight to your organization, so there are no fees on them.
The Donations page lists every gift. The donation report shows totals by payment method, class, grade and day, along with online fees and your share, and you can export everything to a spreadsheet. Both are included on every plan.
Yes. We provide flyers and other promotional materials to help you spread the word and raise more.
Online donations are paid into your organization's own Stripe account, which an Admin sets up from the Payments page in the portal. Stripe passes on each donation, less the fees, and pays it out to your organization's bank account.
Payout timing is set by Stripe. Payouts typically arrive within a few business days of each donation; the first one can take a little longer while Stripe verifies your account. You can see upcoming and past payouts in your Stripe dashboard, which opens from the Payments page.
Stripe is required to verify every organization it pays. It asks for your organization's legal details and tax ID, a person who can represent the organization, and the bank account to pay into. You enter these on Stripe's own secure pages; we never see your bank or identity details.
Refund requests come to us, and we decide each one. When we refund a donation, the donor gets their whole payment back. The organization returns its share of the donation and pays the transaction fee, which covers the card processing; we return our platform fee.
If a donor's bank disputes a payment (a chargeback), the same applies, and the organization also pays the bank's dispute fee. If the dispute is decided in the organization's favor, everything is restored. Donors can ask for a refund through our contact page.
That depends on the organization you're supporting, so please ask them. Every donor receives an emailed receipt for their records.
If it's postponed, just change the dates in your event's settings; your pages and donations stay as they are. If it's cancelled, contact us and we'll work with you on the donations already made.
Use the link the student's family shared with you, or open the event's page and search the participant list by name. Then press Donate on the student's page. Your gift counts toward their goal, their class and the whole event.
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles payments for millions of businesses. Your card details go straight from the secure payment form to Stripe; we never see or store them. Every page on our site uses an encrypted connection.
It's optional. Ticking it adds the transaction fee (3.49% + $0.49) to your gift, so more of your donation reaches the school. The donate page shows the exact amount before you pay.
Yes. Tick "Don't show my name on the page" when you donate, and your name won't appear publicly. The organization still sees it for its records, and you still get a receipt.
Yes. A receipt is emailed to you as soon as your donation goes through.
Many schools accept cash and checks, so ask the organization. If its plan includes it, they can record your gift so it counts toward the student's total.
First check your spam or junk folder. If the receipt still isn't there, or you gave the wrong amount or to the wrong student, contact us with your name, email address and the date of your donation.
Each organization chooses how students' names appear: full name, first name and last initial, or first name only. Student pages also show their grade and class, their goal and how much they've raised. They never show contact details or birthdays, we don't ask for photos of students, and student web addresses use only a first name and last initial.
Yes. Ask your child's school or organization, which manages its students' information, or contact us directly.
No. We don't sell your information or share it for advertising. We share it only with the companies that help us run the service, such as Stripe for payments and Google Analytics for understanding how the site is used, with the organization you're supporting, and where the law requires it. Our privacy policy has the details.
