Running more than one event
Each fundraiser is its own event, with its own goal, plan, classes, participants and results. Run a new event every year (or every season), and the old ones stay in your history.
Creating another event
- On the Dashboard or the Events page, choose New Event (Admins only).
- Fill in the same details as your first event, and choose a plan.
- Tick Make this the organization's main event if this is the event your organization's link should open now.
- Choose Create Event.
Then add its classes and participants. On Plus and Premium you can bring them across in one go: see Copying participants from another event.
Upcoming and previous events
The Dashboard shows Upcoming Events (those still to come, and any without a date) and Previous Events (those whose last day has passed). Past events keep their donations, reports and results, and their pages stay online.
Your students across events
Students are kept from one event to the next, so a student's history stays together. Each event records the grade and class the student was in at the time, so last year's report still shows last year's classes.
Deleting an event
At the bottom of an event's Settings, Delete this event removes the event, its classes and pages, and any students who aren't in another event. It can't be undone.
An event that has received donations can't be deleted, so its records are always kept.
