Sharing your pages
Finding your links
- The event page: the event's Overview has a Share card with the full link and a Copy button.
- A student's page: open the participant and choose Public Page, or use the link icon beside them in the Participants list, and copy the address from your browser.
- Your organization's link (funrunfundraiser.com/your-school) always opens your main event. It's the one to put on your school website. See Web addresses and your main event.
Every public page also has a Share button at the top. On a phone it opens the phone's share menu (text, email, social media); on a computer it copies the link.
Getting the word out
- Send each family their own child's page. A page with a child's name on it gets shared far more than a general one.
- Share early. Two or three weeks before the event gives families time to reach relatives.
- Remind before and after. A reminder the week before, and a "there's still time" note right after the run, bring in a lot of gifts.
- Celebrate progress. Share class standings and the total so far in your school newsletter or social media.
- Use your school's channels: newsletters, class messaging apps, social media and the school website.
When someone shares a link in a message or on social media, the preview shows your event's logo (or your organization's).
